*MediHerb Products are made using the highest quality ingredients and manufactured by the same exacting standards as pharmaceutical medicines. Their herbal quality assurance program guards against substitution of plant species, adulteration of herbs, and poor quality herbs. Tests for pesticides, heavy metals, microbe levels and radiation levels are performed. It is not uncommon for MediHerb to reject a poor quality herb.
*Mediherb has perfected a unique method for making superior quality tablets by using extracts and that differs from many other herbal tablets and capsules that are made from dried herbs. By developing a low temperature drying process to evaporate the liquid from the herbal extract damage to the delicate herbal ingredients is avoided. *Standard Process, manufacturer of whole food nutritional supplements, grows raw materials on their own organic farmland located in Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine basin. The soil is black and rich in nutrients. In addition to using organic farming methods, Standard Process also utilizes eco-sensitive manufacturing by returning the majority of raw material by-products back to the fields.

In order to produce the highest quality whole food supplements, each process is custom engineered to preserve the nutrients of the specific raw materials. For example, whole foods grown on Standard Process certified organic farmland such as carrots and Brussels sprouts are harvested and the carefully GROUND. Nutrients from raw materials such as buckwheat, alfalfa and peas utilize JUICE EXTRACTION with a separation process to extract all liquids, not just the water fraction. Selected animal tissues used to make Protomorphogen TM and Cytosol TM extracts are ground and subjected to a multi-step SEPARATION PROCESS to obtain the cell determinants and cytosolic fractions. Raw materials are then slowly dried in low temperature, high vacuum dryers to preserve the nutrients in them.
